“ Invited to dine with friends on a Friday night. Completely unexpected experience!!! Ambience had low lights and seating was intimate. Food was very good. Best part that kept us up and chatting was their espresso martini’s I will return for sure. ”

“ We dined at the Star Lounge last week as part of our 20th anniversary celebration. Colin was our awesome server! He made the experience all the more special. The Hubby had the old-fashioned and I, the sangria, with the tuna poke to share for starters. All were very good. For dinner, we had the prix fixe veggie menu, which we tweaked to add some scallops. It was all delicious. The place was buzzing with guests. The well chosen decor makes the Star Lounge all the more cozy. One didn't want to just leave. We had a wonderful evening, and we will be back! ”
“ Historic Star Lounge in Hyatt House Sacramento is one of the best lounges I have visited in the Sacramento area with excellent service, and I love the atmosphere of the lounge. I feel very relaxed and comfortable in there. The hotel also have valet parking service at the front door. So you have to worry about parking. ”

“ I will forever dream about the bread and butter from Historic Star Lounge. I have lived in the Sacramento area for 3 years and not one person has ever recommended this restaurant when I am asking for recommendations. How is this possible!? This is the BEST restaurant I have been to out here. First, the ambiance is phenomenal. I cannot remember the last time I was at a restaurant that used real candles. Julian was amazing and adapted to our humor immediately. I appreciate him and all his recommendations. If you don’t order the bread and butter you are missing out. The mussel fritas and salmon tartare were so good. We ordered the gnocchi bolognese and short ribs. They were good, however I would have preferred a little more salt on my ribs and I wish the dish included mushrooms, but that’s a personal preference and no disrespect to the Chef. It was still good. We ordered the creme brulee and lemon tart. Divine. Drinks were phenomenal. I have been telling everyone to go here. 10/10 can’t wait to go back! ”

The staff were absolutely amazing, attentive, and kind. We went for happy hour, and I was simply blown away. If you are looking for a high scale place with great food and amazing drinks. Enjoying the music we dined on the appetizers of Trout Dip and sips of Espresso Martinis and they even had Watermelon Margarita slushies...for the hot Sac summers.
